We are lucky to have an excellant Catering Team who strive to meet the children's tastes, whilst offering a healthy diet.Â
We would encourage you to complete the Free School Meal form at the bottom of this page even if you would prefer to send your child in with a packed lunch as, without this form we will not receive the pupil premium funding to which your child is entitled.
Free School Meals
From September 2014, all children in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 can receive school meals at no cost to you. This is a universal entitlement for all infant aged children.Â
In addition, Free School Meals are available to pupils in recepit of or whose parents are in receipt of, one or more of the following:
- Universal Credit (Provided you have an annual net earned income of no more that ÂŁ7,400 as asseseed by earnings from up to three of your most recent assessment periods)
- Income Support
- Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- Support Under Part VI of the immigration and Asylum Act 1999
- The guarantee element of Pension Credit
- Child Tax Credit (Provided you are not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more that ÂŁ16,190)
- Working Tax Credit run-on - Paid for four weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit.
Pupil premium is extra money for the school, provided by the government, which enables us to support your childâs progress and attainment. You can find out how we spend this money by reading our Pupil Premium Statement in the âEvaluationsâ page.Â
Ordering School Meals
To ensure your child is able to access school meals with Hobbs Catering all parents and carers must read the attached letter and register their child with the catering company. During the registration process please ensure that you provide details of any dietary requirements, allergies or needs.

If your child is entitled to Free School Meals (FSM) the catering company will be notified of this entitlement. If you have not yet requested that we complete a FSM application for you ready for September you can do so here below.
Please remember every child must have a new Free School Meal application completed for the benefit to continue.
The TWS cafe will remain open for students in the upper years at Hazeley campus on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Bookings can be made using the Eduspot app.
We appreciate your support as we move to this new system and we ask that you complete your child's registration as soon as possible to avoid any disruption to their meal service.
